Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz suffered an injury during Philadelphia’s Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Wentz got hit hard in the legs on a play where he tried to run the ball into the end zone. Wentz made it in for the score but the play was called back due to a holding penalty.

A limping Wentz stayed in the game to throw a touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffery but the quarterback was evaluated by medical staff once reaching the sideline. From there, Wentz was taken back to the locker room.
With Wentz out, the Eagles have Nick Foles active as the team’s backup. Nate Sudfeld is the third string quarterback. He’s been inactive on game day.
This is all obviously terrible news for Philadelphia. Wentz has been so crucial to the Eagles’ success this season.
UPDATE: Wentz has been ruled officially out of the game with a knee injury. F***!
SECOND UPDATE: Disaster.
Eagles are concerned QB Carson Wentz tore his left ACL, per source.
