The NFC East is inspiring!

Get fired up!

It was an inspirational week in the NFC East. The Eagles continued their run of dominance by embarrassing one of the league’s best defenses. The Cowboys rallied to beat one of the best teams in the AFC. The Redskins put together a late game winning drive in Seattle. The Giants… well, umm… uhh...

Anyone else feeling inspired? I’m feeling inspired to do this recap with as few words as possible.

Philadelphia Eagles (8-1)

Last Week: Put up 51 points against the Broncos defense, without Carson Wentz’s favorite target as Zach Ertz was euthanized prior to kickoff.

This Week: Bye week

Vance Joseph had 45:07 of game time to get his team to turn it around. They lost 34-20 the rest of the way.

Dallas Cowboys (5-3)

Last Week: Ezekiel Elliott got his suspension punted for another week, beat the Chiefs 28-17.

This Week: Ezekiel Elliott will try to get his suspension punted for another week before facing the Falcons.

Is it bad when the highlight of the game is by the losing team?

Washington Redskins (4-4)

Last Week: Seahawks kicker Blair Walsh missed 3 FGs and the Redskins won 17-14.

This Week: Host the Vikings, who got rid of Blair Walsh in the offseason.

New York Giants (1-7)

Last Week: The Rams played, the Giants supposedly played, the Rams won 51-17.

This Week: Are underdogs to the 0-9 49ers.

After the game (once more, with feeling):
