There’s not a lot to complain about this season when it comes to Doug Pederson. The Philadelphia Eagles head coach should really be the favorite for Coach of the Year at this point.
If there’s one thing I had to nit-pick, it would be that Pederson’s postgame victory speeches haven’t been all that great. Not terrible, but just not great.
But now it looks like Pederson has even gotten that right. His victory speech after the Eagles’ utter domination of the Broncos is his best one so far, which is fitting given the team’s performance. Watch here:
"You've started something special."#FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/yptE2tny89

“Offensively, you took the number two rushing defense, you put 200 yards on their ass!”
Damn, Dougie P!
“If you look at where you’re sitting right now, you don’t want to jeopardize that, right? We’ve got a lot of unfinished business to do. You’ve started something special. Let’s finish something special the remainder of this season.”
Preach!
And then there’s the reaction when Pederson gives the players off for the bye week.
