Alshon Jeffery put on a Brian Dawkins t-shirt and started dropping f-bombs after the Eagles beat the Cowboys

This headline reads like fan fiction.

Alshon Jeffery was freaking FIRED UP after the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

I swear, man, this is like some fan fiction stuff. Jeffery wearing a Dawkins shirt and being really fired up about beating the Cowboys. I think we’ve seen enough by now to know that Jeffery genuinely likes playing for this team, but this postgame commentary really cements that notion even further.

Jeffery was clutch for the Eagles on Sunday night. He “only” finished with four receptions for 67 yards and one touchdown, but his impact went beyond the stats. Two of Jeffery’s catches went for big first down conversions. He made a great contested catch on 4th-and-5 to really seal the Eagles’ win over Dallas.

Jeffery has been playing his best football of the season in recent weeks. It seems like Carson Wentz and him are really starting to click. That’s bad news for opposing defenses.

Jeffery’s comments are ultimately indicative of the swagger and confidence this team is playing with right now. Now they just need to keep it up down the stretch.
