Week 9 of the 2017 NFL season officially kicks off tonight.

Tonight’s game features an AFC East matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets. The Bills are 5-2 while the Jets are 3-5.

The Philadelphia Eagles won’t face either of these teams this season. This game is pretty meaningless as far as they’re concerned.

With that said, there are obviously a lot of former Eagles connections in this game. Former defensive coordinator Sean McDermott coaches the Bills. Jordan Matthews is Buffalo’s slot receiver. There’s some guy on Buffalo named LeSean McCoy. And so on. Jets players Terrence Brooks and Eric Tomlinson used to play for Philly.
