2018 NFL Pro Bowl voting now open, here are the Eagles on the ballot

How many Eagles players will make it?

The NFL has officially opened fan voting for the 2018 Pro Bowl. Until one month from now (December 14), fans will be able to vote as often as they like for the players they want to see in the NFL’s All-Star game.

Keep in mind the fan vote is just one third of the equation. NFL players count for a third of the vote and coaches make up their own third as well.

Ideally, there won’t be any Eagles players actually playing in the Pro Bowl this year because they’ll be gearing up for the Super Bowl instead. But it’d still be nice to see some Eagles players get recognized for their efforts this season.

Here’s a look at all the Eagles players on the ballot.

OFFENSE

QB Carson Wentz, RB Jay Ajayi, RB LeGarrette Blount, WR Alshon Jeffery, WR Nelson Agholor, WR Torrey Smith, TE Zach Ertz, OT Lane Johnson, OT Halapoulivaati Vaitai, OG Brandon Brooks, OG Stefen Wisniewski, C Jason Kelce

DEFENSE

DE Brandon Graham, DE Vinny Curry, DT Fletcher Cox, DT Tim Jernigan, LB Nigel Bradham, LB Mychal Kendricks, CB Patrick Robinson, CB Jalen Mills, CB Ronald Darby, S Malcolm Jenkins, S Rodney McLeod

SPECIAL TEAMS

K Jake Elliott, P Donnie Jones, RS Kenjon Barner, ST Kamu Grugier-Hill

There are a lot of deserving names on this list. Wentz, who is favored to be NFL MVP, is an obvious choice. So is Ertz. I’d say Johnson, Brooks, Kelce, Cox, Bradham, Robinson, Jenkins, and Elliott all have a shot. The Eagles being 8-1 should give the players an edge in the voting.

Once again, let’s hope no Eagles players will actually be playing in the game itself. If you want to give them some much-deserved recognition, though, you can vote here.

Question of the day: how many Eagles players do you think make the Pro Bowl selection? And who are they?
