The Philadelphia Eagles released their third and final official injury report on Friday in advance of their Week 8 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Only two players are listed on Philly’s injury report: Jordan Hicks and Ronald Darby.
Hicks is obviously out after suffering a season-ending injury on Monday night. For whatever reason, the Eagles haven’t officially placed him on the injured reserve list yet. Seems like they might be deciding what to do with his roster spot. He’ll probably go on IR before practice starts on Wednesday next week.
Although Hicks being out is unfortunate, the good news is that Mychal Kendricks is set to return this week. He missed Monday’s game with a hamstring injury. He was a full participant all this week, however, and will play against San Francisco.
As for Darby, here’s what Doug Pederson had to say about the team’s starting corner on Friday.
Darby is getting better. He'll be listed. He's questionable going into this game. He is getting better. Doing some more football stuff, getting more reps out there. His biggest thing right now is just getting back into football shape.
Darby was limited in practice all week, so I’d doubt he’s active for this week’s game. It seems like he might be able to return for next week against the Broncos.
With Jason Peters out for the season, Pederson confirmed Halapoulivaati Vaitai will be the team’s new starter at left tackle. Lane Johnson will stay at right tackle. The top backup at both tackle positions is Isaac Seumalo. The Eagles also re-signed Taylor Hart this week.

San Francisco 49ers Injury Report (Friday)
The 49ers ruled out two players for Sunday’s games: starting slot cornerback K’Waun Williams and reserve defensive lineman Aaron Lynch.
Starting offensive tackle Trent Brown is questionable to play. He didn’t practice all week due to a concussion. His status has to be in doubt for this week’s game. Starting right guard Brandon Fusco was also listed questionable. He participated in the team’s Friday walk-through but missed practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.
Starting linebacker Reuben Foster and starting wide receiver Marquise Goodwin are also questionable to play. They would not be insignificant losses for the 49ers if they can’t play. Foster is one of San Francisco’s better defenders and Goodwin is the team’s deep threat.
