Philadelphia Eagles quarterback (and MVP favorite) Carson Wentz has been nominated for one of the NFL’s weekly awards (for the second week in a row) thanks to his performance against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.

Wentz is one of three players eligible to win the “Fedex Air Player of the Week” award. The other two quarterbacks he’s going up against: Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer and Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins. You can [CLICK HERE] to vote for Wentz.

Here’s a look at how they all performed stat-wise.

Carson Wentz: 16/30 (53.3%), 222 yards (7.4 average), 3 TD, 0 INT, 110.7 passer rating

Carson Palmer: 18/22 (81.8%), 283 yards (12.9 average), 3 TD, 1 INT, 139.4 passer rating

Kirk Cousins: 25/37 (67.6%), 330 yards (8.9 average), 2 TD, 1 INT, 102.3 passer rating

Wentz doesn’t have the sexiest numbers from this group but one must keep in mind he also faced the toughest defense. The Panthers appear to be a much better team than the Buccaneers and 49ers. Not to mention Wentz was playing on the road while Palmer and Cousins were not.

Wentz was named NFL FedEx Air Player of the Week for Week 5. Now you can [vote here] to help him repeat. You can also retweet this tweet:
