Eagles announce jersey selection for Thursday Night Football game

Exciting! (Not)

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced their uniform selection for their Thursday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers this week. Who’s excited for some Color Rush jerseys!?

Huh. That’s ... that’s not a Color Rush jersey.

It’s just the Eagles’ boring all-white uniform that we already get to see plenty of in the preseason and September games because they don’t want to wear midnight green/black when it’s hot out.

The Panthers, meanwhile, will be wearing their all-blue uniforms.

I know the Eagles probably want to save their all-black uniforms for two home games this season, which is fine. And it’s not like this is a major issue ... but the all-white just feels so boring to me. It lacks creativity and it’s annoying when we get to see other teams wear cool stuff.

Back in September, I posed a question on Twitter about the Eagles’ all-whites that generated a lot of response.

The feedback was mixed, so I want to wanted to make a poll here on BGN: What do you think of the Eagles’ all-white jerseys? Vote in the poll below (click here if you can’t see it) and share your take in the comments.
