The Eagles continued doling out future/reserves contracts on Wednesday, bringing back Rasheed Bailey, who spent the summer with the team two years ago.
Bailey, who is a Philadelphia native and attended Delaware Valley for college ball, was an undrafted free agent in 2015 and signed with the Eagles. He nearly made the 53-man roster but was cut in early September.
He then signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad, where he remained for the rest of the season.
The Eagles actually put in a waiver claim for Bailey during this past preseason but got scooped
He wound up with the Chargers but was waived off reserved/injury in early September.
Bailey, 23, stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 200 pounds.
The Inquirer’s Mike Sielski wrote a memorable column on Bailey in June 2015. It's well worth a re-read.
