NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

With the Atlanta Falcons making the Super Bowl, their six representatives in the Pro Bowl are automatically withdrawn. Two of the replacements are Eagles.

Jason Kelce replaces Alex Mack. Kelce was the second alternate behind the Seahawks’ Justin Britt. This is his second Pro Bowl, having previously made it in 2014 as an original selection.

Darren Sproles, who was the third alternate, replaces DeVonta Freeman. This is his third and third straight Pro Bowl. He was an original selection as a return specialist in 2014 and 2015, when the league used mixed AFC/NFC rosters. With the format reverting back to AFC vs NFC, he’s been selected as a running back. Sproles been a Pro Bowler every season since joining the Eagles.

They join Fletcher Cox and and Jason Peters, who were named to the original roster.

Additionally, Kirk Cousins replaces Matt Ryan, and Lions kicker Matt Prater replaces Matt Bryant.
