On Friday it was reported that the Eagles were interested in interviewing Rams WR coach Mike Groh, and today that interest has reportedly become reality. Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the team is interviewing Groh today.
Groh, 45, has been a coach for 16 years, with nine of them as a WR coach in college in the pros. For the first nine years of his career he worked for his father, Al Groh, first with the Jets in Al Groh’s only year as their head coach, and then eight years as an assistant at their alma mater, Virginia, as a WR coach and eventually offensive coordinator. He has also coached QBs for Louisville, WRs for Alabama and the Bears (where he worked with Eagles VP of Player Personnel Joe Douglas) and the Rams.
The Eagles interviewed Bills WR coach Sanjay Lal on Wednesday.
