NFL Saturday Divisional Games: An Open Thread

One good, one bad.

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Time for more playoff football. Again, we have a slate with one possibly good game and one inevitably bad game.

The first of the day pits the high-scoring Falcons against this year’s underwhelming iteration of the Seahawks.

This should be a good game. It’s always fun to watch the Seahawks to play in the playoffs, because Pete Carroll is historically good at getting the best from his teams when the stakes are high. And I’ve also enjoyed watching the Falcons this year, because holy crap are they good at scoring points. Julio Jones is a superstar, and Matt Ryan’s playing the best football of his career.

Should be fun!

And when it’s over, you should turn the television off because the second game today is going to be god awful.

The Patriots are favored by 16 points over the Texans. They might actually win 60 points. Just don’t watch it. That’s all I’ve got.

If you’d like to watch these games (please only watch the first), here’s how you can do so:
