The Eagles announced Thursday they have signed FB Andrew Bonnet to a reserve/future contract.
Bonnet spent a month on the Eagles’ practice squad during the 2016 season, from September 5 to October 11.
Bonnet, of course, is a product of North Dakota State and was a teammate of Carson Wentz’s for four years. He went un-drafted in 2016 and bounced around between the Panthers and Bengals before spending that month with the Eagles.
Doug Pederson has said a few times that he’s interested in adding a fullback to the team’s roster. It’ll be interesting to see if Pederson and the Eagles bring in anyone else at the position.
Bonnet stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 250 pounds.
