Turner had made the initial 53 man roster on Saturday, but was waived on Sunday after the Eagles claimed three players, including WR Bryce Treggs.
Turner, an undrafted free agent out of Lousiana Tech after transferring from LSU, quickly became a fan favorite with strong performances in the preseason, displaying good hands, highlighted by a dazzling one handed catch.
