Eagles sign four more to the practice squad

Includes a fullback

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles announced the signing of four additional players to the practice squad.

Gause and Cherry had been with the Eagles throughout camp. Bonnet is an undrafted free agent out of North Dakota State who was in camp with the Bengals. While at NDSU with Carson Wentz, Bonnet played fullback and tight end, catching 56 passes for 574 yards and 8 touchdowns, including a touchdown in last season's FCS Championship Game, which the Bisons won 37-10 over Jacksonville State. Neary is an undrafted free agent from Eastern Washington who spent the preseason with the Broncos. He is an undersized but athletic guard/center in the mold of Jason Kelce.

The practice squad now stands at nine players, with teams allowed to carry a maximum of ten, and the team will certainly add a tenth player. The three players waived yesterday, Paul Turner, CJ Smith and Taylor Hart, must clear waivers before being eligible to sign on the practice squad. Players waived yesterday will clear or be claimed this afternoon.

The Eagles also announced jersey numbers for yesterday's three waiver claims and recently signed Stephen Tulloch:
