Carson Wentz and the Eagles are up, 20-3, on the Steelers as we speak and I type. That in and of itself is absolutely incredible.
But what Wentz did on the Birds' first drive of the second half is something else entirely.
Watch this:
Wentz improvises.

And Sproles brings the ZOOM.
73 yards! #FlyEaglesFly https://t.co/UMO0f3SyE6
Wentz's ability to identify the rush and roll out freezes defenders. Then, he and Sproles recognize the same thing: go upfield and the matchup favors you immensely.
And then the throw! What a throw. Right in stride. That's a throw you can stare in the face and misplace, but Wentz hits Sproles right in the hands and makes it count.
Then Sproles, everyone's favorite running back, hits the defenders with about 9,000 cutbacks and runs it in for a 72-yard touchdown pass.
Just an incredible play from a quarterback we can't help but fall in love with.
