Eagles vs. Bears 2016: First quarter

Can Carson Wentz top his debut?

Carson Wentz in prime time. You can't ask for much more.

The Eagles face the Bears in Chicago tonight. Wentz will try to top what he did last week, when he led the Birds to a 29-10 win over the Browns. The Bears lost to the Texans in Week 1, so Jay Cutler & Co. are searching for their first win of the season. Should be a pretty solid battle.

And there are storylines! Because Malcolm Jenkins has publicly said, multiple times, he (and maybe teammates) plans on joining the NFL-wide protests asking for raised awareness and conversation about racial social injustices across America, sparked by Colin Kaepernick's decision to not stand during the national anthem. We'll see what happens tonight.

Use this thread to discuss the first quarter of tonight's game; we'll have threads open for the subsequent three quarters as well, because y'all talk a lot. Let's keep things civil. We're all on the same team here.
