Eagles 2016 Season: The Wentz Awakens

An Eagles fan created a 2016 hype video using the audio from “The Force Awakens” trailer, and it’s amazing.

Do you want to get even MORE pumped for the season? Of course you do. Luckily I have just what the doctor ordered in the form of this cool fan-made hype video by YouTuber ShadyBeast, which I stumbled upon while browsing the Eagles’ subreddit. It shows a bunch of Eagles highlights (duh) played over the audio from the first “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer. Check it out!

Obviously, since the audio is for Star Wars it doesn’t translate 100%, and there are a few clumsy moments, particularly when the answer to the question “Who are you?” is in a girl’s voice while they show Carson Wentz and when Fletcher Cox does a goofy celebration dance over John Williams’ music.

But the vast majority of the video was incredibly well done, and not cheesy like you might expect. If you don’t get chills when they show Brian Dawkins crawling out of the tunnel, you might need to take a moment and assess how much of an Eagles fan you actually are. Plus the cameo by the Dallas Cowboys is hilarious.

So watch the video and GET PUMPED. Eagles football is almost an hour away. It’s the dawn of a new era, and the future looks bright.
