Eagles inactives: Vinny Curry active, Trey Burton inactive

We’re less than 90 minutes away from football. Here’s who won’t be playing.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles’ season opener kicks off at 1:00 PM EST. Here’s the list of inactives for today’s game:

TE Trey Burton -- Burton was a late addition to the injury report this week. He suffered a calf strain, and forced the team to sign Najee Goode for special teams help. Burton was used plenty in the preseason as a third tight end. His absence limits Doug Pederson’s ability to use three-tight end sets.

WR Bryce Treggs — Treggs, who was hurt in the preseason before the Eagles acquired him, wasn’t expected to play.

S Terrence Brooks — Another waiver wire acquisition, Brooks is still adjusting to the team scheme and wasn’t expected to play. A backup’s backup.

OL Isaac Seumalo — Backup lineman. Likely playing if/when Lane Johnson’s suspension is handed down.

OL Josh Andrews — Backup lineman.

OL Dillon Gordon — Backup lineman.

OL Halipoulivaati Vaitai — Backup lineman.

This means Vinny Curry, who was limited in practice all week, will play.

It also means waiver wire linebacker acquisition Kamu Grungier-Hill is active for his first game with the Eagles.

Browns inactives

QB Cody Kessler, DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun, CB Marcus Burley, LB Scooby Wright III, OT Shon Coleman, WR Jordan Payton, DE Tyrone Holmes
