The Philadelphia Eagles now know which Cleveland Browns quarterback they will be facing in Week 1. Browns head coach Hue Jackson announced Robert Griffin III as the team's starter. There wasn't much doubt Griffin would win the job, but now it's official.

The Eagles have obviously faced Griffin a number of times since he started his career with the Washington Redskins. The former No. 2 overall pick actually assisted Washington to a win during his last start against Philadelphia, which was in Week 16 of the 2014 season.

Griffin was relegated to the role of third string quarterback last season as Washington opted to have Kirk Cousins as their starter and Colt McCoy as their backup. Jackson and the Browns are giving Griffin a shot at redemption in Cleveland. Reports out of Browns training camp indicate the 26-year-old passer has looked good this summer.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are set to start Sam Bradford at quarterback when the Birds take the field at Lincoln Financial Field on Sept. 11. Philadelphia enters Week 1 as big favorites to beat the Browns.
