Philadelphia Eagles football is back again. The Eagles are set to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 7:00 PM ET on Thursday evening to kick off the second week of the 2016 NFL preseason schedule. This match marks the Eagles' first away game this summer.
Head coach Doug Pederson said Philadelphia's starters will likely play the entire first quarter and possibly into the second quarter. Sam Bradford and the Eagles starting offense only played three snaps last week so now they'll get a longer look. Chase Daniel, who struggled last week, and the second team unit will take over until it's mop up duty time for McLeod Bethel-Thompson. Rookie quarterback Carson Wentz is one of seven Eagles players who won't suit up for Thursday's game. Recently acquired wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham has also been ruled out.
