Eagles announce three roster moves prior to training camp

The Eagles have a full roster now.

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles have officially announced three signings prior to the start of 2016 training camp. Philadelphia has added quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, linebacker Don Cherry, and safety Nick Perry. The Eagles are now fully stocked at the 90-man roster limit heading into training camp, which begins tomorrow.

These roster moves were expected. Reports of the Cherry and Perry signings first emerged on Friday evening while the MBT signing was first reported earlier today. Here's a quick breakdown on each player.

McLeod Bethel-Thompson - Just a camp arm. The Eagles are already set at quarterback with Sam Bradford, Chase Daniel, and Carson Wentz.

Don Cherry - The Eagles are thin at linebacker. The rookie from Villanova has a chance to compete for a depth job.

Nick Perry - The Eagles very much lack depth at safety. Perry had an impressive offseason last year before spending the entire 2015 season on the practice squad.

These obviously aren't big name signings. Just the Eagles trying to add some depth where it's needed.
