The Philadelphia Eagles report for 2016 Training Camp starting Monday, July 25. Bleeding Green Nation is already breaking down the Philadelphia Eagles roster in a position preview series, but we're also going to be running a countdown series that's more geared towards unique thematic angles. We start that series by taking a look at the new players on Philadelphia's roster.
The Eagles have a total of 35 new faces heading into training camp. 10 players were signed in free agency, eight picks were acquired during the 2016 NFL Draft, and 17 were signed as undrafted rookie free agents.
NFL Free Agency
Free agents from other teams
#23 - S Rodney McLeod (5 years, $35 million)
#79 - OG Brandon Brooks (5 years, $40 million)
#10 - QB Chase Daniel (3 years, $21 million)
#53 - LB Nigel Bradham (2 years, $7 million)

The Eagles signed a handful of new starters in free agency. McLeod, Brooks, Bradham, and McKelvin all figure to be starters in 2016. Daniel figures to be the team's top backup now and in the future. Brooks, Randle, and Givens could fit in as role players. Wiz is competing for a starting job at left guard and could be a backup if he doesn't win. Graham is competing for a roster spot.

The Eagles aren't expecting a ton of immediate impact from their rookie class. Wentz projects to the team's franchise quarterback of the future, but he might be kept inactive as a rookie. Seumalo, Smallwood, and Mills have the opportunity to compete for playing time. Vaitai, Countess, McCalister, and Walker aren't necessarily locks to make the final roster. They'll be competing for roster spots this summer.

Per PhillyVoice, the Eagles spent the most amount of guaranteed money on UDFA players this year. The Eagles gave Greene the highest guarantee of any UDFA. These guarantees don't necessarily guarantee (for lack of a better word) much, but they do give us a general idea about which players have the best chance at making the roster or practice squad.
The Eagles introduced 34 new players to camp last offseason, so this year's total has that beaten by one. Howie Roseman has talked about striving for more roster continuity in the future. The Eagles could look to be less active in free agency moving forward after spending a ton of guaranteed money this offseason.
