Eagles mandatory minicamp practice schedule begins on June 7

New, comments

The last week of practice until late July.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to begin their three-day mandatory minicamp this week after concluding their voluntary offseason team activities late last week. This minicamp is the last phase of Philadelphia's spring workout program. After this week, the entire team won't practice together again until Eagles training camp begins on Thursday, July 28.

The biggest difference between OTAs and minicamp is that this week's practices are mandatory. Fletcher Cox and Darren Sproles have skipped all of Philadelphia's voluntary workouts so far this offseason, but now they can be fined up to $76,580 if they don't show up. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said he expects both players to show up to minicamp. Cox was reportedly seen on a plane headed to Philadelphia on Sunday evening. Sproles is reportedly expected to attend.

Bleeding Green Nation will have Eagles minicamp fully covered as I attend this week's events in person. Follow me on Twitter for live updates (@BrandonGowton). The practices/workouts will be similar to the ones that took place during OTAs. No contact is allowed yet.
