It's a very slow time for the Eagles right now, but tonight is a huge night for Philadelphia sports. The Sixers own the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, which starts at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN.
This is the moment Sixers fans have been waiting for ever since Sam Hinkie's rebuilding project began back in 2013. Philadelphia is (likely) going to draft Ben Simmons with their first selection. With Simmons, the Sixers will have another franchise cornerstone to build upon for years to come. Pairing Simmons with a healthy Joel Embiid is something to really be excited about.
Simmons probably isn't the only pick the Sixers will be making. Philadelphia also owns some other first round picks and they've been heavily involved in trade rumors. It should be an interesting evening.
