Philadelphia Eagles release two more players

The Eagles continue to clear space.

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles released running back Kevin Monangai and defensive lineman Travis Raciti on Thursday, according to an official announcement from the team. These two players are the latest to be cut in order for the Eagles to make room for their 2016 NFL Draft picks and undrafted rookie free agent signings. Keep in mind the offseason roster limit is set at 90 players.

Monangai originally signed with the Eagles before training camp last summer. The Villanova alumnus finished the 2015 preseason with 126 yards and one touchdown on 21 attempts. Philadelphia signed him to a futures contract after the season ended.

Raciti signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent last offseason. He spent some time on the practice squad in 2015.

Here's a recap of all seven players cut by the Eagles this week.
