The New York Giants have made a huge mistake. For some unthinkable reason, the G-Men decided to release former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback/wide receiver/safety/future Hall of Famer/all-around awesome guy, G.J. Kinne.
Kinne spent time last year on New York's practice squad and active roster after being cut by the Eagles in late August. It can't be just a coincidence that Chip Kelly got fired the year he decided not to keep Kinne on the team.
The good news is that Kinne is taking his totally unjustifiable release well.
I would like to thank the New York Giants for the opportunity they gave me. Life happens...it's how you respond that counts.

The even better news is that the Eagles have a chance to right Kelly's mistake and bring him back to Philadelphia. The Eagles need an extra arm in camp right now anyway with Sam Bradford holding out and demanding a trade. Then again, if Carson Wentz's presence threatened Bradford, I can't imagine what having Kinne around would do. Bradford might just retire at that point.

UPDATE:
Gotta love Eagles fans...the best in the NFL. Very thankful to have played for such a great city and organization. https://t.co/pqaI1S7x7W
