Let's get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ...

Todd McShay: ‘Seumalo Has Starting Ability’ - Birds 24/7
"I’ll tell you a great story: Obviously we didn’t have a lot of picks. We’re picking and we’ve got to consider trade offers because we don’t have a lot of picks. And we got a call from a team that asked us to move down and our board for the guys we had at that spot was getting a little low. We get a call from a team and we’re friendly with them so I said, ‘Alright, we haven’t picked in a long time. I need to know: what side of the ball?’ He says offense. And I said, ‘Alright, you’re killing me, I don’t think we can do it.’ And he goes, ‘You’re not picking the player we’re going to pick.’ And so I said, ‘If you’re that confident, tell me the position on offense.’ He said, ‘O-line.’ I go, ‘Yeah, we can’t do this.’ "Hang up, we make the pick. The guy picks later in the third round and doesn’t take an offensive lineman. So I call him. I said, ‘Why didn’t you just tell me you were taking that other position? I would have made the trade with you.’ He goes, ‘You took our guy.'"

Bradford's agent: 'There is no real competition' - Daily News
"Clearly, if Sam's in the locker room, all of the other players -- the players always know what's going on -- ... they know that Sam's a short-term guy, and he's just there until the rookie is ready to go. So that's not a particularly favorable situation for (Bradford). And I know people say, 'Why doesn't he just compete and win the job?' There is no real competition" with a QB drafted so high, that a team had to expend extra resources to acquire, Condon said. "He's playing, and that's all there is to it. Ideally, (Bradford) would get to go someplace and establish himself and be there for some lengthy period of time. That certainly isn't going to be in Philadelphia."

NFC East draft grades: New York Giants edition - PhillyVoice
With the exception of their first-round pick, I felt that the Giants got appropriate and in some cases excellent value where they drafted their players. They only had six picks but made the most of them.

Cool Feature - Iggles Blitz
The Eagles will keep their eyes open. If the right guy is out there, they’ll sign him. Doug Pederson realizes that keeping a pure FB is a bit of a luxury. He pointed out this spring that the player would be a good STer more than anything. Maybe they will consider converting a LB. Bryan Braman is a good athlete and STer. I’d prefer to keep him on defense since he can be an effective pass rusher in blowout situations when the other team throws the ball over and over.

Why did Eagles sign quarterback Sam Bradford? - NJ.com
Is Bradford the guy? Can we get to, and win, a Super Bowl with him as our quarterback? If the answer was yes, then by all means sign him to a new deal, and use the draft and free agency to build around him to make all of that possible. If that answer was no, then let him walk, let him become a some other's team problem. Then use the draft, or trade, or whatever means possible to find a quarterback that can answer those questions in the affirmative. Roseman and the Eagles did both. And now they have a mess at the game's most important position.

Carson Wentz needs to learn how to protect himself in NFL - CSN Philly
Good or bad, Wentz never really lost the mentality of a running back, he admitted. At North Dakota State, he often became a runner, racking up over 1,000 yards rushing with a 4.8 yards-per-attempt average. The 6-5, 237-pound quarterback would often lower his shoulder to pick up an extra few yards. That was fine playing against FCS competition, but it won’t fly in the NFL. It’s the kind of thing the Eagles are going to want to eliminate from his game now that they’ve invested a great deal in the franchise quarterback.

The NFL writer who literally ate his bad predictions explains himself - SB Nation
Rotoworld NFL Draft writer Josh Norris put his tweets where his mouth is. Several of his draft predictions went wrong, and when the New England Patriots did not get to select Navy's Keenan Reynolds in the NFL Draft he followed through and ate it.
