Darren Sproles is denying a report from earlier on Wednesday that stated he's seeking a long-term contract. Sproles sent out the following two tweets from his official Twitter account.
I'm holding out because I want a long term deal who's telling these people there information

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson suggested that Sproles has been skipping workouts to spend time with his family. He also stated that the Eagles want to keep Sproles and that Sproles doesn't want to be traded. Pederson expects Sproles to report to the team's mandatory minicamp practices starting on June 7.
Sproles may not be holding out for a long-term contract, but it is worth noting he's on the last year of his deal. He turns 33 in June and he's currently scheduled to be a free agent after the 2016 season.
