Bovada has released win total projections for all 32 teams in advance of the 2016 NFL season. It's time to play the over/under game.
The odds-makers have the Philadelphia Eagles' 2016 win total set at exactly seven games. Only three other teams have a worse total: Chip Kelly's San Francisco 49ers (5.5), the Tennessee Titans (5.5), and the Cleveland Browns (4.5). The Eagles are tied with four other teams set at seven: the Detroit Lions, the Miami Dolphins, the New Orleans Saints, and the San Diego Chargers.
The over for the Eagles is set at EVEN (1/1). The under is -130. In 2015, the Eagles' projected win total was 9.5 games. Philadelphia obviously fell short and ended up with seven wins. Chip Kelly was fired before the Birds' seventh and final win.
Here's a look at the rest of the NFC East.
Dallas Cowboys: 9.5 games (Over EVEN, Under -130)
New York Giants: 8 games (Over -160, Under +130)
Washington Redskins: 7 games
Time to place your (hypothetical) bets. Will the Eagles be over or under seven wins this upcoming season? How about the rest of the NFC East?
As a reminder, here's a look at the Eagles 2016 schedule. And here's my (optimistic) game-by-game record prediction for the 2016 season.
