The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly set to hire Joe Douglas as their new head of player personnel. The announcement hasn't been made official yet, but it's expected to be only a matter of time.
While we wait, it should be noted that the Eagles have also reportedly hired another former Ravens executive. Baltimore's east regional scout Andy Weidl is set to join Douglas' staff and serve as his right hand man. His new title is rumored to be assistant director of player personnel.
Geoff Mosher was first to point out the possibility of Weidl coming to Philadelphia. Former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah had very nice things to say about the Eagles' new hires.
The Eagles hit a HR by hiring Joe Douglas. They followed that up with another HR by adding Andy Weidl. 2 of NFLs top evaluators.

Weidl has some familiarity with the Philadelphia region because he played offensive line for Villanova. That also qualifies him as a "football guy."
The Eagles desperately needed to add more top talent evaluators to their front office and it seems like these hires are good ones. The Ravens are generally considered to have one of the better scouting staffs in the NFL.
Here's more on Weidl via his bio on BaltimoreRavens.com.
