The Philadelphia Eagles originally owned the No. 188 pick in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft but then they made a deal with the Minnesota Vikings to move down to No. 196. When their pick came, the Eagles selected Auburn defensive back Blake Countess. Countess is versatile so it remains to be seen how he'll fit into the Eagles' crowded secondary. Perhaps he'll compete for a job at nickel cornerback? Or backup safety?
Here are some more reactions to the Countess pick. Make sure you vote in the approval poll below.
Before Eagles’ Blake Countess’ ACL injury a few years ago, was on track to be a fringe 1st rounder. Isn’t same guy, but dude has some skills

Countess is a "favorite player of ours," Roseman said. Can play safety, nickel, CB -- Will Muschamp raved about him. Eagles earmarked him.

Blake Countess is a really interesting pick. Played at Mich and Auburn. Played CB and S. Can cover, will also hit/tackle. Good size.
