The first round of the 2016 NFL Draft is over. The top two picks on Thursday night were boring and predictable but the rest of the draft featured some excitement with trades and surprise picks.
The Philadelphia Eagles enter Day 2 of the draft with only one pick. You can thank Chip Kelly for trading this year's second round pick last offseason in order to get Sam Bradford. Now Bradford is acting like a baby and holding out from the Eagles just two months after signing a two-year contract extension worth $11 million guaranteed. The main reason why Bradford is upset is obviously because the Eagles traded up to draft potential new franchise quarterback Carson Wentz at No. 2.
Day 2 of the draft kicks off at 7:00 PM ET. You can watch the draft on ESPN/ESPN2 or NFL Network. (Or both.)
The Eagles still have quite a few needs to address. Running back, offensive line, cornerback, and wide receiver are positions to keep an eye on. Philadelphia might also look to add some defensive line depth at some point.
