Top 50 Players in the 2016 NFL Draft

The NFL draft is a day away! With the event fast approaching, I am sure everyone is giddy about the potential players the Eagles will be adding through the draft this year. So that leaves the question, who are the best players in this years class?

1. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State: A transformative player, Elliott will impact every facet of an offensive game plan and will be a constant threat to score.
   
   
2. Jalen Ramsey, DB, FSU: One of the best athletes in this class, Ramsey has the size, speed and mentality to be a star defender at cornerback or safety.
   
   
3. Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss: The best tackle to come out in recent memory, Laremy Tunsil has size, strength and attitude.
   
   
4. Myles Jack, LB, UCLA: If he can make full recovery from injury, Myles Jack is an elite athlete at linebacker who can change the makeup of a defense.
   
   
5. Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville: An explosive, versatile, penetrating defensive tackle, Sheldon Rankins will wreak havoc from all across a line.
   
   
6. Joey Bosa, DL, Ohio State: Maybe the cleanest on field player in this class, Bosa is a stout run defender who can disrupt the passing game from various spots.
   
   
7. Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida: Though undersized, Vernon Hargreaves is an athletic and physical cornerback.
   
   
8. Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor: A touchdown waiting to happen, Corey Coleman is a freaky athlete who can just make big plays happen.
   
   
9. Kenny Clark, DL, UCLA: Still very underrated, Kenny Clark is a good athlete, but is also incredibly physical and versatile.
   
   
10. Shaq Lawson, Edge, Clemson: Though he still has work to do, Shaq Lawson is an outstanding athlete and has incredible potential on the edge.
    
    
11. Karl Joseph, S, WVU: With a total rebound from injury, Karl Joseph has the range, ball skills and hitting ability to become a top tier NFL safety.
    
    
12. Chris Jones, DL, Miss. St.: Though a bit raw, Chris Jones athletic ability gives him Muhammed Wilkerson like upside.
    
    
13. Laquon Treadwelll, WR, Ole Miss: After testing poorly this offseason, many people are worried about Laquon Treadwell. Not me. This physical bad ass is going to find a way to come down with the football.
    
    
14. Darian Thompson, S, Boise State: With great size and instincts, Darian Thompson can make his presence felt at any level of a defense.
    
    
15. Mackenzie Alexander, CB, Clemson: Taking a leap of faith with athletic ability and production, Mackenzie Alexander has the smarts and physicality to become a very good NFL defender.
    
    
16. Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana: Big, athletic and mean as hell, Jason Spriggs has the chance to develop into a top tier tackle.
    
    
17. Leonte Carroo, WR, Rutgers: Carroo can impact the game deep, create yards after the catch and win at the catch point. He is a complete receiver.
    
    
18. Joshua Garnett, OG, Stanford: Joshua Garnett may not be an elite athlete, but he is big, long, strong and a total badass at guard.
    
    
19. Javon Hargreave, DL, SCS: If a team misses out of Sheldon Rankins, they can take solace in drafting this athletic, penetrating tackle from the FCS ranks.
    
    
20. Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama: Reggie Ragland is a stud football player, athletic testing be damned.
    
    
21. Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State: Though he is pigeonholed into being a pure man cornerback at this point, Eli Apple is very good at it.
    
    
22. Josh Doctson, WR, TCU: Josh Docston may be a bit "one dimensional", but that dimension is kicking ass above the rim and making plays in the red zone.
    
    
23. Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State: Bell isn't flashy by any means, but he is an incredibly dependable defender on the back end.
    
    
24. Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Ole Miss: Nkemdiche has otherworldly athletic ability that could transform him into an elite NFL defensive lineman, but he has a lot of technical things to clean up before he gets there.
    
    
25. Cody Whitehair, OG, KSU: A bit older and lacking in athletic ability, Cody Whitehair is the classic lunchpail player who just wants to show up and block the shit out of some defenders.
    
    
26. Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis: Paxton Lynch is the best quarterback in the class, possessing ideal poise, arm strength and downfield accuracy.
    
    
27. Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame: Fuller is a dynamic deep threat who will frustrate with drop passes and then jaw drop with incredible splash plays.
    
    
28. Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame: Jaylon Smith has a huge hill to climb back from a serious injury, but if he can recover, he has the aggressive mentality and athletic ability to be the next Kiko Alonso.
    
    
29. William Jackson, CB, Houston: William Jackson is a lean cornerback who has issues tackling, but his incredible ball skills are probably going to make up for it.
    
    
30. Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State: Decker is probably maxed out as a player, but he is a stud pass protector with a serious mean streak.
    
    
31. Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama: Nasty, athletic and intelligent, Ryan Kelly is definitely the type of player you want in the middle of an offensive line.
32. Noah Spence, Edge, EKU: Questions about on paper athletic ability, but top notch playing speed and bend around the edge make Spence one of the best pure pass rushers in the class. 
    
    
33. Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama: Looks like a power back, plays like he's Chris Johnson, Derrick Henry is one of the most unique players in this class and can be a serious weapon on an offense.
    
    
34. Sterling Shepard, WR, Oklahoma: Sterling Shepard is probably the best route runner in this class and while I wouldn't consistently depend on him inside the 20, he is going to be an outstanding number two wide receiver.
    
    
35. Emmanuel Ogbah, Edge, Oklahoma State: Ogbah is a raw athlete with a high motor, but he needs to clean up some aspects of his game.
    
    
36. Deforest Buckner, DL, Oregon: Much on the flip side, Buckner is not a great athlete, but he has immense size and physicality that will help him disrupt offenses.
    
    
37. Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State: Michael Thomas isn't a dynamic wide receiver, but he will be a very solid and dependable option on an offense.
    
    
38. Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame: An outstanding technician and decent athlete, Stanley has a shot at becoming a top lineman if he can get stronger and meaner.
    
    
39. Leonard Floyd, LB, UGA: Despite having an unorthodox build, Floyd has awesome potential as an off ball linebacker. Just don't make him an edge rusher, please.
    
    
40. Kenneth Dixon, RB, LaTech: A true do it all back, Dixon would be a great consolation prize for teams that wanted Ezekiel Elliott.
    
    
41. Keanu Neal, S, Florida: Neal is a hard hitting, explosive strong safety with the potential to play deep as well.
    
    
42. Vernon Butler, DL, La Tech: Huge, athletic and physical, Vernon Butler will cause serious problems at defensive tackle.
    
    
43. Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor: Though Billings isn't the most explosive player, he is probably the strongest player in this class. He will be a disruptive nose tackle/guard and create opportunities for the defenders around him.
    
    
44. Christian Westerman, OG, ASU: A total badass at guard who will bock a defender until they cease to exist.
    
    
45. Justin Simmons, S, Boston College: An athletic marvel with excellent brains and physicality. Not a playmaker, but won't give up big plays.
    
    
46. Darron Lee, LB, OSU: Raw in coverage and not overly physical, Lee is still an explosive athlete who has as much upside as any player in this class.
    
    
47. Jarran Reed, DL, Alabama: Reed is an outstanding run defender who can play any interior position.
    
    
48. Connor McGovern, OG, Missouri: A freak athlete at guard with a serious mean streak. Yes please.
    
    
49. Jonathan Bullard, DL, Florida: Bullard showed that he has very good athletic ability, but now he needs to make it translate to the field more consistently.
    
    
50. Su'a Cravens, LB, USC: High motor linebacker who is excellent in coverage. Just Cravens just fly around a defense.
