The Eagles are looking for depth.

The Philadelphia Eagles worked out free agent defensive tackle Mike Martin on Monday, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Caplan.

The 25-year-old Martin is listed at 6-1, 306 pounds. He was originally selected by the Tennessee Titans in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft after playing four years at Michigan. In four seasons with the Wolverines, Martin racked up 172 total tackles (25 for loss), 10 sacks, and one forced fumble.

Martin started five games and played in 46 games during his four-year stint with the Titans. He finished with 41 tackles and four sacks during that time. He only played 52 snaps in 2015 before being placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury.

The Eagles are likely looking into Martin as a depth player to have behind starting defensive tackles Fletcher Cox and Bennie Logan.

Martin is undersized but he is a very good athlete.
