Let's get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ...

Mike Mayock analyzes the top NFL draft prospects - Daily News
Mayock: "The more I've gotten to know [Wentz] and talk to the people around him, the more I like him. I can watch all the tape I want and judge arm strength and physical running ability, which he has in spades. But it's the intangibles at that position (that make the difference). And I'm getting a really positive feeling both with my interaction with him and also indirectly (talking to scouts) throughout the league. I took a bunch of crap for saying both Wentz and (Jared) Goff are in the conversation with (Marcus) Mariota and (Jameis) Winston. But I believe that. I believe all four of them are franchise quarterbacks. I don't have any concerns about the level of competition that Wentz played.

Some NFL draft analysts think Wentz & Goff are better than Winston & Mariota - PhillyVoice
All along, however, the perception has been that none of the quarterbacks in this draft are on the same level as the two quarterbacks that were selected with the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks a year ago, Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. Recently, a number of draft analysts are beginning to say the Wentz and Goff might actually be better.

Monson: Wentz needs work, but is ‘jackpot’ QB prospect - PFF
Carson Wentz is not a finished product as a quarterback, but his upside is off the charts. He has arguably the best arm talent in the draft, and couples it with very impressive athleticism and size, giving him maybe the best overall physical skill set in this draft among quarterbacks. He is inexperienced as a starter, but he’ll be 24 years old before the year is over. He has work to do on the mental aspects of the game, as well as his accuracy. He played his football at North Dakota State and will likely be the first FCS quarterback to be drafted in the first round since Joe Flacco in 2008, and potentially the highest-drafted in a long time.

Inside the Film Room With... Jared Goff - The MMQB
While he was on the wrong side of the scoreboard, the Cal quarterback showed the subtleties and savvy of a future franchise QB during last season’s loss at Stanford. Just weeks before the draft, he broke down the game film for The MMQB.

Does North Dakota state QB Carson Wentz really add up to $20M? - ESPN
If North Dakota State's Carson Wentz is selected at No. 2, it will represent one of the greatest gambles in modern draft history. Yet the compliments and the hype just keep building.

More on Zeke - Iggles Blitz
I would be fine with the Eagles spending pick 8 on RB Ezekiel Elliott. Generally speaking, spending high picks on RBs is dumb. RBs can be found all over the place. The difference is that I think Elliott is a special back. To get one of those, you generally have to draft them early.

Ezekiel Elliott is the best RB in the NFL Draft, and he's even dangerous without the ball - SB Nation
Ezekiel Elliott will almost certainly be the first running back off the board in the 2016 NFL Draft, but it's not just the Ohio State product's ability when the ball is in his hands that makes him such a valuable addition. He's also lauded for his ability to keep defenders away from his teammates.

Greg Cosell's Draft Preview: Ezekiel Elliott's transition to NFL - Yahoo Sports
While we think Ezekiel Elliott and every other highly drafted prospect will be an All-Pro, it’s worth remembering the NFL transition isn’t always easy.

Draft Daily: Dak Prescott, A Mid-Round QB Option - Birds 24/7
While Prescott’s skills from the pocket improved from his junior to senior season, Mississippi State lost four games and his stock leveled off. Still, the dual threat quarterback continued to etch his name into the record brooks, as he became just the fourth player in Division I history to throw for 70 touchdowns and add 40 on the ground. He’s also the most decorated player in Mississippi State history, breaking 38 school records.

2016 NFL draft positional breakdown: Wide receiver - CSN Philly
Charone Peake, Clemson, 6-2/209 - Peake is an interesting case. He tore his ACL back in 2013 and had to sit and wait his turn behind receivers like Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins and Martavis Bryant. He has great size, great hands, tremendous ball skills and had a productive season in 2015. He also tested well at the combine (4.45 40, 35 ½ vertical). He drops for fear that he may have been a one-year wonder.

Colt Anderson signs with Buffalo Bills - Buffalo Rumblings
Former Eagles player update.
