Nigel Bradham, Eagles reportedly agree to terms on contract

The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with free agent linebacker Nigel Bradham, according to a report from Peter Schrager. The deal is reportedly two years long.

The Eagles' interest in Bradham was first reported prior to the begin of NFL free agency on Tuesday. Here's what we wrote at the time:

This news hardly comes as a surprise because he's yet another player who has familiarity with Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. The two spent the 2014 season together in Buffalo.

We identified Bradham as a potential Eagles target earlier. The 26-year-old player struggled in 2015 but he excelled with Schwartz back in Buffalo's 4-3 defense in 2014. Philadelphia is in need of a new outside linebacker after trading Kiko Alonso, also formerly of the Bills, to the Miami Dolphins.

Bradham started 38 games in 57 career appearances with Buffalo since being drafted by the Bills in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. During those four seasons he racked up 165 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one interception, 12 passes defensed, and two forced fumbles.

Bradham is the second former Bills player to sign with Philadelphia this offseason. The Eagles recently signed former Buffalo cornerback Leodis McKelvin to a two-year deal.
