The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to terms with free agent Rodney McLeod on Tuesday. Judging by the reaction in the comment section here at Bleeding Green Nation, a lot of fans are excited about the signing. Here are some more reactions from Twitter, including why the Eagles could have one of the NFL's best safety tandems moving forward.

McLeod signing allows Jenkins to keep playing closer to line/in slot. May explain heavy investment in safety. Could rule out Boykin return.

Asked if Rodney McLeod was physical, the scout said: "He's tough as shit. No fear."

Rodney McLeod has similar athleticism to Walter Thurmond, but is a much more physical player.

McLeod and Jenkins give the Eagles two of the 10 highest-paid safeties (avg. per/yr) -- Howie knows how hard it's been to find safeties

Rodney McLeod is a scheme fit -- ascending player, fits profile Howie likes. ...Covered him at Virginia, will help pair well with M. Jenkins
