The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced a new two-year contract for starting quarterback Sam Bradford. Some of his teammates seem excited that he's going to be back, though there was less of a player reaction to this deal than there were for other contract extensions this offseason. Media personalities are more lukewarm on the deal. Here's a roundup of how everyone is reacting.

It not only doesn't preclude them, it is almost guaranteed that they will. https://t.co/06UopzeSTH

Bradford deal is probably one of the better deals that will get signed during FA. Short, get a starting QB, fair value

Two year deal suggests that none of the other teams even took his #LastSevenGames seriously.

So in summary, the Eagles paid Sam Bradford $18mm/season on the strength of one 7-game stretch that wasn't even impressive.

Even average QB's have real leverage in today's #NFL. #sadbuttrue

Still wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles drafted a QB this year, maybe even in first round.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that the Eagles included a preseason clip in Sam Bradford's highlight tape? https://t.co/bgNeNRJjYd

Never thought Bradford would sign for 2 years, esp prior to start of FA. Still a lot of money, but potential long-term disaster mitigated.

Paxton Lynch is a year or two away, but has enormous upside. Just saying.
— Jimmy Kempski (@JimmyKempski) March 1, 2016
No. Eagles just as likely to draft a quarterback. It's only a 2-year deal. https://t.co/dxHGaGxj9f

If Bradford plays well, clearly I'll write it. I did in training camp. But this is a risky move by #Eagles, hitching their wagon to him.

luv too give mediocre QB $22M+ for a year of work https://t.co/tGBdbI4vbY
