Let's get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ...

Vernon Adams is Legit and We Can Prove It - rotoViz
It is easy to see that Adams belongs in this group of signal-callers. Though he did pass the least often among this cohort, he was by far the most efficient, almost two full AYA better than first round prospects Jared Goff and Paxton Lynch. His numbers across the board embarrass Carson Wentz, and if you compare their profiles based on only their small school resumes, Adams would again come out in front. And while Adams is an older prospect, he is the same age as both Wentz and Connor Cook, who, quite frankly, stinks. I’m convinced the only reason people like Cook is that he was a "winner" at Michigan State. The measurables seem to be the primary factor weighing down Adams. He weighed in at five feet 11 inches, and 200 pounds at the NFL combine. He also had small, 9.25 inch hands. However, as Justin Winn pointed out, Adam’s hand size is not as much of a detriment since he is a mobile QB.

2016 NFL Draft: Vernon Adams Scouting Report - Tactical Anarchist - BGN
One of the more interesting stories of the 2015 college football season was Oregon Ducks quarterback, Vernon Adam's journey from the FCS level to filling some of the biggest shoes in college football. The name Marcus Mariota may sting an Eagles fan's ears like hearing your ex's name, but Mariota left a gaping hole in Autzen that Vernon Adams was asked to fill. A year after Oregon's quarterback won the Heisman, led Oregon to compete in the National Title and then was taken second over by the Titans (not the Eagles), an FCS transfer put on a Ducks uniform despite a shortened offseason with the team due to some transfer rules. Adams walked into a football culture where Pac 12 contention and National Title chances were yearly expectations.

Chip Kelly’s Firing May Have Been Predetermined - CBS Philly
30 unnamed NFL players not on the Eagles, who think very highly of the Eagles as an organization, said things about how the Eagles—and especially Lurie—treat their players, and if they were free agents they would consider signing with the Eagles. A predominant portion of that same group, however, said that they wouldn’t have considered Philadelphia if Kelly was still the head coach.

Chris Givens: Bradford Was the ‘Deciding Factor’ - Birds 24/7
That Sam Bradford connection is ultimately what led to Givens signing with the Eagles, despite interest from the Jets. "It played a lot into it. I feel like our talents match up very well," Givens said. "That was a deciding factor." With Bradford throwing him the ball in 2012, Givens broke the NFL rookie record for most consecutive games with a reception of at least 50 yards (five). He also led the Rams in receiving yards (698), yards-per-catch average (16.6) and receptions of at least 25 yards (eight). Asked about his declining production since those successful seasons in St. Louis, Givens couldn't pinpoint why he was better in the first two years, but added, "Sam had a lot to do with it."

Givens Gives Eagles A Deep Threat At WR - PE.com
Chris Givens isn’t here to be The Answer for the Eagles’ receiving corps. Instead he’s here, after signing a one-year contract on Wednesday, to be a part of a room that needs to step up, collectively, from last season and give quarterback Sam Bradford reliability and productivity ...

Eagles need to draft a quarterback - Daily News
Let's face it: Neither Bradford nor Daniel is close to a sure bet. Bradford is their best gamble, but that's all. It took him half a season to digest Chip Kelly's offense, and that was with a personal tutor. Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur was Bradford's coordinator as a rookie with the Rams. How long will it take before Bradford can run the first offense Pederson has ever developed? As for Daniel: He's a 6-foot clipboard jockey who will be 30 in October. Undrafted out of Missouri, unemployed his first year out of college, Daniel has thrown 77 passes in six NFL seasons, including two last season. The only reason he's wearing green is because he will serve as an extra assistant, as Pederson did for Andy Reid in 1999. Besides, both of those contracts offer the Eagles an escape.

Ranking the Eagles' top 5 needs - NJ.com
The addition of Brandon Brooks, signed away from the Houston Texans, helps. That being said, Brooks can only play one guard spot. The team doesn't want to go into next season with Allen Barbre or Matt Tobin as their other guard, as both showed last season they are better off as backups than full-time starters.  If the Eagles can add guard with the No. 8 overall pick that lives up to the selection, the unit goes from a weakness last season to a strength this year.

Brett Brown: 'We've gone through 3 years of immense pain' - CSN Philly
"Everybody seems to want to go, ‘who makes the final decision?’" Brown starts. "We saw it in Philadelphia with Chip Kelly and Howie Roseman. We’ve seen how that can be a wedge. People like controversy. Our species lately likes controversy. They like asking those questions, in my opinion, at times, that produce controversy. I understand it. It’s part of the landscape."

NFL's ten most unsettled quarterback situations | The MMQB with Peter King
As John Madden likes to say: If you have two quarterbacks, you have none. Newly signed free agent Chase Daniel is 29. The last time a career-long backup QB blossomed into a quality first-time starter at that age? Rich Gannon for the Raiders in the early 2000s. Before that, Steve Young for the Niners in the mid-’90s (and that was a very unique circumstance). Maybe Sam Bradford (recently inked to a two-year extension at $18 million per year) will be better in 2016 and keep Daniel on the bench. It will depend on how disciplined Bradford can be operating in a well-designed offense that’s full of defined reads. Nevertheless, we’re talking about ifs and maybes here.

Tony Siragusa Out at Fox Sports | The Big Lead
Tony Siragusa will not be returning to Fox’s NFL coverage, The Big Lead has learned. The former Colts and Ravens defensive tackle had been a broadcaster there for nearly a decade. He spent eight of those seasons supplementing the announce team of Daryl Johnston and Kenny Albert; this past season he worked with Thom Brennaman and Charles Davis.

The largest NFL free agent contracts are usually a waste of money - SB Nation
The last five years are littered with millions of dollars of unrealized expectations from free agency. Here's a closer look at the two largest contracts handed out every spring since 2011 and how those players and teams have fared.
