Free agent guard Evan Mathis has found another new NFL team. After playing for the Broncos last season and winning a Super Bowl with Denver, now Mathis has a chance at another ring. The 34-year-old Mathis agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Cardinals on Wednesday. Arizona went to the NFC Championship Game last season and projects to be one of the best teams in the conference again this year.
The deal is a very nice one for Mathis. Check out the contract numbers:
Mathis deal is actually up to $6,000,069. Wore #69 with Broncos, Eagles.

Classic Evan Mathis humor right there.
Mathis has done pretty well for himself since Chip Kelly cut him after a contract dispute last offseason. I'd wager Mathis is looking forward to getting a chance to beat Kelly's 49ers twice a year. Meanwhile, the Eagles are still looking for a new starter at left guard. The Birds haven't been able to replace the two-time Pro Bowler.
