NFL compensatory picks for the 2016 NFL Draft were officially announced on Friday afternoon. To no surprise, the Philadelphia Eagles did not receive a single one.

Compensatory picks are extra picks at the ends of rounds three through seven that are awarded to teams that suffered net losses in terms of free agents lost/signed. The amount of money and playing time the departing player gets also factors in Here's a reminder of which players the Eagles lost/gained last offseason.

2015 Free Agents Not Retained

WR Jeremy Maclin (Chiefs)
S Nate Allen (Raiders)
LB Casey Matthews (Vikings)
CB Bradley Fletcher (Patriots, then cut during the season)

2015 Free Agents Signed

RB DeMarco Murray
CB Byron Maxwell
RB Ryan Mathews
DB Walter Thurmond III
ILB Brad Jones
WR Miles Austin

The Eagles haven't received a compensatory pick since 2013. Can you remember who they got that one for? Try to guess without cheating.

It's probably safe to say the Eagles won't receive a compensatory pick yet again next year. The Birds were busy in NFL free agency this week by signing a total of six players.

Here is a complete list of the Eagles 2016 NFL draft picks.

2nd - (Traded to the Rams for Sam Bradford)
3rd - (from the Detroit Lions)
4th - (from the Tennessee Titans)
