Dez Bryant wants DeMarco Murray to come back to the Dallas Cowboys

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Dez Bryant must have seen the report that DeMarco Murray isn't happy in Philadelphia with the Eagles. The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver tweeted out the following message on Thursday afternoon:

The Cowboys certainly missed the 2014 version of Murray last season. The biggest problem Dallas had in 2015 was missing Tony Romo for most of the season, but their running game declined as well. It probably would have declined even had Murray stayed, considering how cooked he looked in 2015.

Reports from multiple sources indicate Murray would like to play for the Cowboys again. Maybe Jerry Jones would be crazy enough to think he made a mistake by letting Murray walk in free agency. Maybe he could bail the Eagles out by taking on his contract and giving the Eagles an asset in return. I wouldn't say it's likely at all, but who knows.

Murray has publicly said he wants to be back with the Eagles. It's more likely than not that the Eagles are stuck with him due to his contract. But that apparently won't stop Bryant from expressing his desires anyway.
