Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory has been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season after violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Per @NFL drug policy, Randy Gregory failed 4 tests. 1st at combine -- in the program. Then 2-gm fine, then 4-gm fine, then 4-gm suspension— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) February 19, 2016
The Cowboys got a lot of credit in the media for taking a risk on Gregory in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Now they're seeing some of the drawbacks to their gamble.
This news might come at an inconvenient time for Dallas. The Cowboys are looking light at defensive end with three players, including Greg Hardy, scheduled to be unrestricted free agents. Gregory is/was poised to be a potential starter on the defensive line.
The 2016 NFL schedule isn't known yet but it's possible the Eagles and Cowboys could play in the first four weeks. They first played each other in Week 2 last year.
