Thursday Night Football, Week 14: Raiders at Chiefs

This is going to be good.

Boy, oh boy, do we have a football game to watch tonight.

If you regularly read these Thursday night posts, you’ll know I’ve been a proponent of spending your Thursday nights doing basically anything that isn’t watching football. Reading a book. Cooking a good meal. Learning about doubanjiang. Seriously, anything.

But tonight, if you like football, you should watch the Thursday Night Football game. I’m not 100 percent, but I think I will be.

The Raiders (10-2) are heading to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Chiefs (9-3) in a matchup between the two best teams in the best division in football.

When these two squads faced off in October, the Chiefs won a sloppy football game, 26-10, holding the high-flying Raiders offense (third-most points, fifth-most yards) to just one touchdown and only 221 passing yards.

It helped that the Chiefs brought in their stalwart defense, which has forced the most turnovers (25) of any team in the league, and allowed the third-fewest rushing touchdowns and ninth-fewest points.

Since then, the Raiders have gone 6-0, while the Chiefs have gone 6-1.

Seriously, this is going to be a tremendous football game.

If you’d like to watch, here’s how you can do it:
