Increase in playing time for some, tiny snap counts for others

The Eagles beat the Giants 24-19 on Thursday. As we always do, let’s take a look at the snap counts

The following players were inactive: Paul Turner, Dwayne Gratz, Steven Means, Josh Andrews, Dillon Gordon, Halapoulivaaiti Vaitai (knee), Taylor Hart

Allen Barbre and Ryan Mathews were injured and did not return, Carson Wentz and Jason Peters left the game with an injury but returned.

NOTES

-Ryan Mathews’ 50% of snaps was he joint-highest of the season with the Redskins game two weeks ago.

-Jordan Matthews’ 70% of snaps was a season low in a full game, however he was limited with an ankle injury.

-Brent Celek’s 54% of snaps was his highest since the Steelers game when Zach Ertz was out.

-Chase Daniel got his first regular season playing time.

-Bryce Treggs played one snap.

-”Fullback” Beau Allen got his first offensive snap since the Packers game, and his 29 snaps on defense was his most since the previous Giants game.

-Connor Barwin’s 73% of snaps was his most since the Falcons game.

-Vinny Curry’s 38% of snaps was his third lowest of the year.

-Terrence Brooks made his debut on defense.

-Stephen Tulloch’s 6 snaps was his most since the Lions game.

-Marcus Smith’s 29% of snaps was his 2nd best of the season (Seahawks).

-Mychal Kendricks’ 16% of snaps was his 3rd lowest of the year.
