Monday Night Football, Week 15: Panthers at Washington

Josh Norman faces his old squad. Mmm, narrative.

Here’s something that happens from time to time: a given football player, convinced he can make more money elsewhere, will leave the football team he once played for. He has likely thought over whether moving teams and earning more money will ultimately bring him more happiness. He probably asks his family members for their input. He likely considers the location. I don’t know if he considers things like downtown parking rates, or his new residence’s state bird, but that’s understandable. I can’t name very many state birds.

In any case, Josh Norman used to play football for the Carolina Panthers. Then he switched teams. Now he plays for Washington. Tonight, those two teams will face off on Monday Night Football. It is a scene ripe for narrative crafting. This will be the first time Norman plays against the Panthers instead of for them. I’m sure, if you decide to watch this game tonight, you will hear plenty about that.

If you’d like to tune in, or merely switch the television to something ignorable while you consider moving, or while you research state birds, here’s how you can do it:
