Sunday Night Football, Week 15: Buccaneers at Cowboys

Go Bucs

Remember when the Cowboys were the hottest team in the league, destined for the #1 seed and Dak Prescott could do no wrong?

Yeah, I remember two weeks ago.

The Cowboys lost their second game of the year last week, to the Giants, and now host the new hottest team in football in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs have won five straight to move into a tie for first place in the NFC South. They have gotten at least two turnovers in each of those wins, and are averaging 200 passing yards against.

The Giants won today against the Lions to improve to 10-3, which means that this game is almost a must win for the Cowboys: fall to 11-2 and they are just one game ahead of New York for the NFC East, and with it the 1 seed. Dak Prescott hasn’t thrown for over 200 yards in his last three games, and has two fumbles and two interceptions in his last two games.

On a Sunday with playoff implications up and down the schedule, we cap off with one with two teams suddenly in a fight for their division lead.
