Eagles Week 14 snap counts

Another game where reserves were pressed into duty

Let’s take a look at the Eagles snap counts from the Redskins game.

The following players were inactive:

Brandon Brooks (illness), Halapoulivaati Vaitai (knee), Dorial Green-Beckham (abdomen) Kenjon Barner, Dillon Gordon, Taylor Hart, Kamu Grugier-Hill, Josh Andrews

Darren Sproles, Wendell Smallwood, Allen Barbre and Jon Dorenbos all left the game with injuries.

NOTES

-Bryce Treggs, who played just two snaps last week, saw an increase in playing time to three snaps.

-Trey Burton’s 47% of snaps was his second most since Zach Ertz was out in Weeks 2 and 3.

-Brent Celek’s 30 snaps were his most since Weeks 2 and 3, and his 39% was highest since the Vikings game

-Zach Ertz’s 12 special teams snaps tied a season high. With 108 special teams snaps, he has passed last year’s total of 83. He had 167 in 2013 and 210 in 2014.

-Paul Turner’s 31 snaps and 40% was his second highest of his three game career.

-Connor Barwin played the fewest amount of snaps in his Eagles career, and possibly his fewest since his rookie season. Snap counts are unavailable from before 2011, when he was a 16 game starter.

-Jalen Mills’ 40 snaps for 83% of playing time were his most since he played every snap vs the Falcons.

-Marcus Smith’s 25% of snaps was the third time in four games where he played at least 25% of snaps.

-Steven Means’ 11 snaps for 23% of playing time were both his highest amount of playing time since Week 17 of his rookie season.

-Terrence Brooks’ 16 snaps was his 7th double digit special team snap count total in eight games, and his most since the Giants game.
